FM demodulation

Postby PBerry » Wed Mar 12, 2008 1:30 am

I would would like to demodulate an FM signal with a bandwidth somewhere between 2-200kHz on a carrier of a frequency between 1-100 MHz (all to be determined). I have a Xylo-EM board and am thinking that I can use an I2C PLL and feed the error voltage into a Flashy board and move on with processing the information in the Xylo.

Is the PLL error voltage available on the I2C board? Will this hardware setup work for demodulating an FM signal? Is there a better way?

Thanks,
Paul

No, the PLL is fully enclosed and you get only the output signal.
