EEPROM upgrade

Postby bruno » Mon Jun 28, 2010 5:31 pm

Hi,

I upgraded the EEPROM on our Xylo-L to a 24LC64 so that we could have persistent 8051 firmware.

In doing so I noticed that the A1 and A2 pins share a common trace with Vss while the trace for the A0 pin goes off in a different direction.

Is there a way to change the polarity of the A0 pin that is more elegant than lifting the A0 pin and wiring it to Vcc?

What I did works, but it would be great to know if there is another way to change its polarity.

Thank you,

Bruno

On Xylo-L, lifting the A0 pin is the best solution.
