The manual that comes with the board suggests using the CyUSB driver, but then the examples all use the EZ-USB syntax. The description of how to use the CyUSB driver only states that I should use XferData, but since I have never done anything like this before, this doesn't help me much. I couldn't find a good beginner tutorial. Any change these examples will be made available for the CyUSB driver as well?

Look into the "FPGA Project - USB-2 (FX2) 1-5" folders, many of them have CyUSB source code examples that use the XferData function.
