First of all I'm new to FPGA's but not new to high end design software in other worlds both software and hardware. I've been using Xilinx 13.1 and that only. I have done a few online "course" examples and have got my Spartan 3e board to flash some leds and take switch inputs. So far so good.

The problem I am having is the POS software (ISE Project navigator) crashing when I save the design while I am entering the schematic. Then the ISE Project navigator won't boot after a restart because it is trying to load the old design so I have to reboot then rename the folder with the design in then launch the ISE and you guessed it, start over with the schematic entry. What a load of crap. I've done a search on google and many people have had this sort of problem with the project navigator for YEARS!

What else can I use to enter the schematic and get that part done and saved?

P.S. I just /sarcasm LOVE /sarcasm the Xilinx "help" desk...
