Pluto II boot PROM configuration challenge

Postby avic » Sat Jun 16, 2007 3:08 pm

Hi
Got my new Pluto II board (I am new to FPGA).
I had connected the board to the PC with DS275 (like MAX232) for the Tx line and direct for the Rx line.
Using the FPGA configurator I am able to configure the FPGA but not the PROM.
When I try to configure the PROM I get this massage:
"Result: No boot-PROM found"

Any ideas?

It can be two things:
1. The communication with the board doesn't work properly. Try to get the SerialRx and SerialRxTx projects working. Then try again the boot-PROM.
2. The frequency in FPGAconf isn't set correctly. Check Options/Pluto-II clock speed.
