Is PCI FPGA code included?

Postby scott14468 » Tue Feb 28, 2006 4:46 pm

Hi,

I've been looking at the Dragon board for a work project (we are a medical imaging company trying to develop a video capture board for our imaging device that behaves like a progressive scan camera), and your board looks like a good starting point.

My question is whether or not the PCI core is included with the board, or is it purchased from Xilinx?
Best regards,
Scott

Yes, a Windows PCI target core is included, in source code form (Verilog for FPGA + C code for PC).

Thanks.

Do you by any chance have any benchmark transfer rate information?

I guess the other logical question is whether or not a PCI mastering core is available?

Thanks,

Scott

No I don't provide a PCI master so you might have to buy a separate core if you need that.
