Loose vs. Lose on "What are FPGAs" webpage

Postby andruk » Sun May 30, 2010 5:43 am

The "What are FPGAs" webpage has a few typos regarding the words "loose" and "lose": http://www.fpga4fun.com/FPGAinfo1.html.

"Loose" means to intentionally let something go, eg: "Do not loose that flock of deranged geese", or "Loose your arrows into the enemy."
"Lose" means you can't find something, or you no longer have something, eg: "You will lose your pencil", or "FPGAs lose their functionality when the power goes away (like RAM in a computer that loses its content)."

I don't mean to be condescending nor a grammar nazi, but this website will look much better if it uses proper English grammar (as would any website).

That being said, thanks this great website!

Yeah, no problem. Thanks for not taking my corrections as an insult. :-)
